I Know You Are But What Am I

Slice of daily life documentation in NYC during the short two year period of 2009-2011 with Canon PowerShot. Photo. Words. Music. Subsequent Short Videos. The witnessing that inspired the documentation.

Movies I worked on, in various roles as: Director, Editor, Script Supervisor, Actor. Over 30 productions: documentary, long form (35mm and digital), short form (35mm and digital), music video. Was awarded “Director Special Recognition” at San Francisco Shorts Film Festival in 2007 and was an official selection at St. Louis International Film Festival and Indianapolis Fringe Film Festival in the same year.

Multimedia performance installations that delved into themes of interactions and interconnections between this reality and “dimensions” beyond this reality. These works are deeply inspired by my own experiences as a Native American existing within a world separated from its inherent connection to the basic elements of earth, nature and spirit.

Acrylic paintings and Digital Drawings based off of unseen places. Inspiration via text correspondence with my other self in scientific form. Which resulted in the occasional crossover of raveling layers.

People research over the years in the corporate world under the guise of: Casino (High Stakes Blackjack Dealer and Casino Host), NYC Opera (sales), Investment Banking (middle man for Investment Bankers and their assistants), Fashion (Benefits Manager, 401k, Insurance, Employee Protocol), Product (Research and Development for fashion, food, drink), NYSCA (Panelist for Individual Grants, 2 consecutive years), Speaker at "A Just and Sustainable Peace" Conference in Hiroshima, Japan, Government (OPVP discovering the people's needs)

Studying people and drawing were staples in my life outside of the womb. Realism was never the goal; interpretation, documentation and "insert random thought" were. What did I observe? What did I draw?
